The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge - Anya-licious & Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes Challenge

This is my entry for this week's challenge at the TGF and SSS blog, both with a focus on Anya stamps.

I just realised that I do not have a lot of Anya stamps even though I have alot of Greeting Farm stamps.  LOL...But Fancy Anya is definitely one of my favorites so here is the card I made.

The pattern paper is from a very old patterned paper pack from SEI called Moonrise.  The paper is so beautiful that I really did not want to embellish too much and instead let the paper and the Anya image be the focal points.

Anya is coloured in with Copics and the die cut behind the image is from Memory Box called Hopemeadow. Love it. So intricate.  I paper pieced her dress from one of the pattern papers in the paper pack and put stickles on her hair pins and her belt. The sentiment is from Signature Style Greetings stamp set by Papertrey Ink.

On the inside of the card, I used the same die cut to create some form of continuity.

The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday - Anything Goes

This is my entry for The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. I am making this card also to be given as a wedding card to a friend who will be getting married soon.  At first, it was just going to be an ordinary greeting card but I looked at the sentiment that says "Enjoy This Day" and I thought, hey, it could be a wedding card.  Why not?? :p

The image is Shimmer Bean by TGF and image is cut out using Lacey Squares Spellbinders dies.  I used patterned papers from My Mind's Eye and mulberry flowers from I Am Roses.  I absolutely love their paper roses.  I got the pearl spray off a store on Etsy.  I finally got the filigree corner die by La-La Land Crafts and as you can see, I am absolutely in love with it! Used it inside AND outside.  Haha.  The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Papertrey Ink and it is Heart-to-Heart #9 stamp set.

TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge - Cheeky Geeky

I have not participated in challenges for a long time and just came across this challenge for The Greeting Farm which requires the use of lace and pearls in the card creation.  Here is what I came up with :

It is a fairly simple card but I like how it turned out.  I coloured TGF's Cheeky Geeky with my copics and adhered her to a scalloped circle cut out using my nestabilities. I tried to use colours that were on the patterned paper I was going to use to make it match a little more.  I love TGF's Cheeky series. They are just too cute.

I used some frilly lace from my stash and glued on some ribbon sliders which I already affixed pearl centers to.  The purple cardstock I believe is from PTI in the Plum Pudding colour.  The "happy birthday" sentiment is from PTI's Birthday Greetings : Inside and Out stamp set.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park's Spring Time collection.

FFF Challenge - The Greeting Farm

This card is a simple one as the theme on The Greeting Farm's Friday Farm Fresh Challenge this week is "Good Things Come in Small Sizes" and the card is not supposed to be larger than a 4" x 4" card.

I started out wanting to do some different paper layers then realised I did not have much space after putting the image of Blush Babette on the front. So I improvised and cut out some patterned paper from Basic Grey's Hopscotch collection with the MFT's Decorative Doily Die-namics.

I coloured in Blush Babette with my copic markers and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set. The fabric flowers are also from BG's Hopscotch collection and the studs are Glam Rocks from the i-rock range of products.

For the inside of the card, I decided to leave it quite plain and accentuated with butterfly punch outs from the same patterned paper as used in the front. The card base is from PTI.

Birthday Wishes with Cheeky Beauty

For this week's Which One Wednesday Sketch #8 over at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenge Blog, I decided to use Cheeky Beauty and coloured her in with my Copic markers.

I used kraft cardstock as the base and layer for the image. The pattern papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle collection. I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress inks to ink up the sides of the card base and layers.

The flowers are from I Am Roses and what can I say, they are my absolute favorite at the moment! The sentiment is from Hero Art's Birthday Messages stamp set and I curved the sentiment to follow the edge of the die cut.

The nestabilities used are Labels Eighteen and Classic Ovals Small.

Sketch #34 at Cardabilities & Simon Says...Anything Goes!

This card is being submitted for the sketch challenge over at Cardabilities and at Simon Says Stamp challenge blog where the theme is Anything Goes!. I really love how the card came out and has got to be one of my favorites so far.

I managed to get the image from The Greeting Farm during their last Farmer's Market. I've been wanting this for a long long time ever since I started stamping and was so glad they put it up for sale again. Isn't she simply adorable? I coloured her and the lotus flower with Copics.

The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Springtime collection and the card base is from PTI's Sweet Blush cardstock.

I am in love with these small mulberry flowers! Aren't they too cute?

Which One Wednesday - Sketch #3

This is my first entry for any type of challenge over at The Greeting Farm. If you are like me and love their stamps, please head on over to TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog to enter. The sketch for this challenge is as below.

This is my take on the sketch.

I decided to keep it simple this round. I wanted to use my new Ian stamps but am not very good when it comes to making manly cards, that is why the card is so simple. I coloured Ian with my Copic markers and decided to paper piece his shirt. I used patterned papers from Basic Grey's Oliver Collection and foam dots to create a more dimensional look. I cut out the stamped image using Spellbinder's Nestabilities in the Classic Ovals Large.

Please excuse my cut-off watermarking. I accidentally made the font too big!

Hanging Chipboard Birthday Sign

This is a birthday sign that I made for a friend whose birthday falls in March. I thought the Fancy Anya from The Greeting Farm absolutely fits the description of her. I coloured her in with Copic markers. The sign is cut out of chipboard with the Tim Holtz Baroque die and I used the American Crafts Adhesive Backed Fabric Paper as the background. I cut the doily background using the Dainty Doily die from My Favorite Things. I then used some Prima pearls and mulberry flowers as embellishments. I distressed the mulberry flowers with Vintage Photo distress ink by Tim Holtz.

The butterflies were punched out of Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness Collection patterned paper. I added some stickles on the butterflies for some shine. Here is another close up shot of the butterfly.

I also decorated the back of the sign with my birthday wish to her. The square with the sentiment is cut out using Spellbinder's Nestabilities, Lacey Scalloped Squares. The butterflies are punched out with Martha Stewart punches. I used Prima pearls as embellishments with buttons on banners that were cut out using the Rounded Banner Trio die-namics from My Favorite Things.
