Totebags Galore!

Has anyone ever heard of the brand Rootote? It is a brand which was created in Japan in 2001 and it's called a Rootote because each bag has a convenient side pocket called a "Roo pocket" (as in kangaroo, I think). There are also convenient pockets to hold all your gadgets and stuff inside the bag. For those who are afraid to use bags with no zip enclosures (like me), you can put your purses and such in the Roo pocket as it is a cleverly hidden pocket with a zip enclosure at the side of the bag. Cosmetic Pouch

The prices for the totebags ranges from RM50 to RM125 for limited editions. The cosmetic pouches retail for RM45. The bags made from polyester materials are priced at RM50 and the cotton canvas ones are priced from RM55 onwards. I have seen these and I feel that the material that is used for the totebags are strong and durable, perfect for everyday use. And the above are just a fraction of the designs that are available.

Souvenir from Prague

It's been a while since my last post and I will have a few new posts coming up. But for now, I just want to write a short post about a souvenir my mom brought home from her recent Eastern Europe trip.

I thought it was the cutest thing. Embedded with Swarovski crystals and the actual file I think is made either from a special type of glass or crystal too. I'm one for shiny things. Hehehe, ask anyone I know. And it's not just for show, it actually works. :)

Two of the same???

I am writing this post at the risk of looking silly and stupid to my readers. Hahaha. A couple of months back, I went to a Times Bookfair (that they have a couple of times a year) and picked up some books which I thought would be a good read and good value for money.

Among one of the books I picked up was Tony Parson's, Family Way.

I recently only read it and thought it was a very good book and could not put it down. After I finished reading the book, I proceeded to place the book back into my bookshelf (which is located in the study) and lo and behold, what do I find??!! There was the same book (albeit a little smaller and in a different coloured cover) staring right back at me from the shelves!!!

Suffice to say that I felt totally stupid. What more that the first edition I bought was even slightly cheaper than the recent one I picked up!!! And let me say, that this is NOT the first time that this has happened to me!!! Sigh, guess I can't keep up or remember, especially when they change the book covers!!

Have any of you ever done the same silly thing??

(at the time of this posting, I suddenly realised that I might not have bought this book but loaned it from a friend. But she can't remember if it's hers, so I guess it's the same thing! I have two of the same books!!)
